Here is why Dr. Taketa-Wong’s approach to wellness is so effective:
Health is not static. With so much happening at every moment in our body, there is no hovering. Each day, we are either getting a little better or a little worse. Moving from this understanding to a plan of effective action is key.
People gain the most when they incorporate small improvements in a variety of areas on a regular basis. It might mean choosing less of one food and more of another, getting more sleep, trying different exercises, or even doing some type of meditation.
Stand Alone Presentations A stand alone presentation can be from 1 to 3 hours. These are designed for delivering a message that is focused on a particular topic, for example, how to approach changing one’s food habits or improving sleep patterns.
Lecture Series The lecture series offers a more in-depth approach to a variety of topics. For example, in addition to changing food habits, participants would learn the nutritional value of different foods, the role of supplements, and tips for preparation.
Workshops The doctor’s workshops offer a half-day that provides a more concentrated and interactive approach to the various wellness topics.
